Chili Cheesy Dog

No menu is complete without a delicious footlong all-beef hotdog topped with 100% real Wisconsin cheddar. Smooth and creamy, Merkts Sharp Cheddar Cheese perfectly complements this chili cheesy dog.



Griddle, Electric Bain-Marie or Steam Table, Stovetop

For Hotdogs:
  1. Pre-cook hotdogs in small batches, by steaming and then holding warm for service.

  2. Hotdogs can also be cooked (steamed & griddled) to order.

For Chili:
  1. Heat the chili needed for service—then hold hot, in an electric bain-marie or on a steam table.

To Make A Chili Cheesy Dog:
  1. Place a hotdog on a hot griddle to finish cooking and slightly char.

  2. Then place it in a toasted hotdog bun and smear with 2 tablespoons of Merkts Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

  3. Top with 2 tablespoons of chili and 1 tablespoon jalapeños.
